I relate greatly to the “Aesthetic Movement” started in the mid 1800’s in England. The movement emphasized, more the sensual values rather than socio-political ideas or themes which our current culture is obsessed with. My fascination with the “Aesthetic Movement” is because it challenged the values of mainstream culture by referencing beauty of the natural world. That is why I am on the forefront of what I would call the “net-aesthetic” movement.
